A typical tea party could run from 2 - 3 hours and may include:
- Arrival and ice breaker game
- Seated tea party with mini sandwiches, scones with jam and whipped cream, crumpets and butter, strawberries dipped in chocolate, and of course real English tea with milk and sugar lumps!
- Time to go outside for a theme-related treasure hunt & party piñata
- Authentic English party games such as Pass the Parcel, Pin the Lid on the Teapot, and Musical Tea Cups
- Arts and Crafts: painting ceramic tea cups, decorating treasure boxes, beading bracelets and necklaces, mask-making, hat-making, etc.
- Second round of tea and shortbread biscuits or Madeleines
- Departure with tea party themed goody bag
Pre-Schoolers Tea Party: 2 hrs -- $700
5 Years & Up Tea Party: 3 hrs -- $800
- 10 children maximum at Jenny's home
- Additional children can be added if party is at your home: $50 charge per child over 10 children
- Note that you may choose to host the party at your own home for an additional $100 offsite fee (within 20 miles of San Francisco).

About Jenny
English Jenny has been throwing tea parties for children since 2005. Mother of a college-aged son who used to assist with party prep and who still asks for cucumber sandwiches, Jenny is an expert at throwing a magical tea party.
With over 30 years of early childhood teaching experience, Jenny is a true professional at designing age-appropriate experiences tailored to each child's needs and desires. You can relax knowing that the tea party guests will be in good hands, and will have an enchanting and memorable tea party with English Jenny!

Jenny was the most wonderful host for our daughter’s 5th birthday tea party. It was a unique and magical afternoon that was personalized to my rainbow, unicorn-loving girl’s delight. There was a unicorn-themed treasure hunt, crafting station, and decorations galore and the main event was an adorable English tea service with fine china and delicious treats. Meera was in heaven and so thrilled to be able to spend the afternoon with close friends. She can’t stop telling everyone about how much fun she had.
The best part as a parent, once I connected with Jenny, all I had to do was verify the guest list and share a theme and Jenny took care of the rest. Jenny created an absolutely wonderful fifth birthday tea party for our daughter at our home in San Francisco. She brought all the supplies—decorations in a sparkly rainbow theme that were an instant hit with my daughter; beautiful table settings, tea, and a delicious homemade spread replete with tea sandwiches, scones, crumpets, and all manner of other treats; supplies for fun arts and crafts activities and a delightful treasure hunt for the kids; and thoughtful goodie bags for them to all take home.
She arrived well in advance of the party to set everything up, and made great use of our indoor space as rain prevented us from holding the event outside as planned. She was lovely with the children when they all arrived and the tea and activities were perfectly timed and paced, including a joyful freeze dance party where they could burn all their extra energy off!
Jenny was fantastic to work with in planning the party and helpfully accommodated dietary restrictions including a vegan guest.
Great fun was had by all, and when I asked my daughter how she would rate the party on a scale of 1-10 and she said 13 billion, which seems like a glowing review to me!
